Soft Play Spectacular

Guide

How to choose a venue for a soft play party

The best venue for a soft-play party isn't always the biggest — it's the one that's easy to set up in, easy to clear up in, and matches the size of the package you're hiring.

Floor space and shape

A rectangular hall with clear floor space is easier to lay out than a room broken up by pillars or awkward furniture. Ask the venue to confirm floor dimensions and whether furniture can be moved.

Access for delivery

The nearer we can park to the door, the quicker setup is. Ask about stair-free access, ground-floor entry and unloading bays.

Kitchen and toilets

For anything longer than an hour or two, you'll want a small kitchen for food and drinks, and easy access to a nappy-change-friendly toilet.

Hire cost and time

Community halls are usually the best value. Book slightly more time than you think you need — an extra 30 minutes either side gives us space to set up and pack away without pressure.
