Soft play party ideas for a 1-year-old
For a one-year-old's birthday, keep it simple. A padded play corner, a short guest list, easy finger food, one small cake — and everyone goes home happy (including you).
Which package suits a 1-year-old's party?
Little (£95) or Classic (£110) are almost always the right call. The step-and-slide is manageable at this age, the ball pit is shallow, and the mats give babies who aren't yet walking somewhere padded to be.
Styling that photographs beautifully
Neutral works. Our soft-play range is deliberately grey, white and mint, so it complements a balloon arch, cake table or floral setup without fighting it in every photo.
Timings and guest list
Two hours between the morning and afternoon naps — usually 11–1 or 2–4. Keep the guest list intimate; a first birthday doesn't need to be a wedding.
