Soft play safety tips for parties at home
Hired soft play is designed for young children, but the setting matters as much as the equipment. These are the things we'd ask any host to think about before the first child climbs in.
Supervision comes first
Adult supervision is always required. We deliver, set up and collect the equipment; parents and carers remain responsible for supervising their own children throughout the hire.
Agree between the adults who is watching the play area at any given moment — especially during food and cake, when attention naturally drifts.
Give the setup room to breathe
Leave clear space around the equipment, away from fireplaces, radiators, glass furniture, stairs and doorways. Children come off a slide with more momentum than you'd expect.
Shoes off, and keep drinks and hot food outside the play area.
Mind the age mix
Our range is designed with babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers in mind. If older children are attending, it helps to give them turns rather than letting everyone in at once — it keeps things calmer for the smallest guests.
Tell us the ages attending when you enquire and we'll help you pick the right setup.
