Hosting a toddler party at home
Home parties are cheaper, cosier and far less rushed than a hired venue — providing you plan for the fact that your living room is about to become a play centre for two hours.
Be realistic about numbers
Count adults as well as children. Ten toddlers usually means ten to fifteen grown-ups too, and it's the adults who fill a living room. Fewer guests almost always makes for a better home party.
Prepare the room, not the whole house
Move furniture out of one room, clear the floor, and close doors to rooms that are off-limits. Have a spot ready for coats, bags and shoes near the front door.
Let us know where you'd like the setup and we'll work around your space.
Think about arrival and parking
Tell guests where to park, and let us know about access — steps, narrow entries, lifts or a shared drive — when you send your booking request, so setup runs smoothly.
